January visitors to the Smugglers' Notch of Vermont can take in some winter fun at the Heritage Winterfest, an annual event held in conjunction with the Smugglers' Notch Primitive Biathlon. The festival is held the last weekend of January and features sleigh rides, children story times, snowshoe tours and a main street art walk as well as music, bonfires and fireworks.
