Running through the Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont, this river was meant to be named La Moitte (meaning "the seagull" in French) but a cartographer failed to cross his t's and the river was misnamed Lamoille. The river features both whitewater and flat stretches and is crossed by the Cambridge Junction Covered Bridge in Jeffersonville.

Running along Route 108 in northern Vermont, the Brewster River is a scenic waterway between Smugglers' Notch and the town of Jeffersonville. The river flows under the Grist Mill Covered Bridge just outside of Jeffersonville and shortly thereafter joins the Lamoille River.
