Also known as Route 108 between the towns of Jeffersonville and Stowe, Smugglers' Notch Scenic Byway is one of two officially-designated scenic drives in Vermont. The 23-mi (37-km) drive is named after the Smugglers' Notch pass, a cleft in the Green Mountains, and is a popular drive with summer and fall visitors. Due to heavy snowfall, the highway is closed in winter.
